Charity portfolio management
We manage portfolios for a number of charities and not-for-profit organisations. With our experience in this field, we know the importance of meeting the investment aims of the trustees, whether these are to generate income, capital growth or a balance between the two.
The right investment strategy
Ethical considerations often form part of a charity's investment strategy. Your appointed investment manager will take the time to establish these and other considerations as part of constructing an appropriate portfolio.
Regular reporting
Trustees are kept up to date by way of regular reports, which include a detailed market commentary and portfolio performance review. In addition, your investment manager is available to meet with the trustees to discuss any issues relating to the portfolio.
Efficient administration
As part of our service to charities, our nominee company handles all aspects of portfolio administration including settling transactions, receiving income and carrying out regular reconciliations of stock and cash. Details of all transactions and cash movements are included in our half-yearly reports and summarised in a year-end tax pack. This reduces the expense and administrative burden placed on the trustees by legislation.
