Announcing the Launch of NW Brown & Company Limited
From Wednesday, 1st March 2006 various companies offering a comprehensive range of Financial Services within the NW Brown group will be drawn together to form one company to be called NW Brown & Company Limited. These companies provide Investment Management, Pension, Financial Planning, Tax, Trustee Education, SIPPS and Employee Benefit services and will continue to do so in a more co-ordinated manner that will ultimately benefit the client with more centralised operations.

These companies provide Investment Management, Pension, Financial Planning, Tax, Trustee Education, SIPPS and Employee Benefit services and will continue to do so in a more co-ordinated manner that will ultimately benefit the client with more centralised operations.
Where previously the services have been carried out under individually registered companies they will now be provided to clients from one company allowing much freer access to the wide variety of services the group has expertly provided for more than 25 years.
Deputy Chairman, Marcus Johnson says, ‘It is important we can tell people how much we do in as simple a manner as possible. We are going to remove some of the artificial barriers which sometimes got in the way of looking after our clients. Simplifying the operations within the company make it easier for us to talk about our business to each other and to our clients - making the supply of service swifter, broader and more effective.’
The new structure will also allow the other part of the company – NW Brown Insurance Brokers Limited – to bring in the mortgages service which the company has offered since its inception in 1974. For the past five years the mortgage broking side of things was held within the Financial Planning division. ‘Having the mortgage broking service in alignment with our broad range of insurance services makes much more sense from a client’s perspective.’ Says Marcus, ‘when you buy a home – to let or to live in yourself – you want to be sure you can get the best assistance and advice, which is always much easier to get when you have already built up a relationship with the providers.’
With such a broad range of services and so much experience on hand it is easy to see why, since the company was started by Nigel Brown more than 30 years ago, the company has gone from strength to strength.
