Reporting to: Compliance & HR

Purpose: Takes responsibility for the Reception area, providing an excellent first contact for clients; presents a professional corporate image discharging all responsibilities in a friendly and efficient manner.

Hours: 37.5 spread over 5 days between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm, to ensure coverage for holidays, with one hour for lunch.

Skills & Knowledge:

Good written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised and methodical with an ability to prioritise tasks
Ability to support and coach other members of the team
Positive and friendly telephone manner
Computer literate

Responsible for the smooth running of Reception
Support and guide colleagues as necessary
Management and review of company’s postal arrangements
Support for other areas of the business as required

Specific Key Tasks and Targets:

To receive guests and clients in a friendly and welcoming way at all times
To answer all incoming calls in a timely and efficient manner
Source refreshments/lunches/dinner as required for events/meetings
Ensure smooth operation of equipment in Reception
Place and distribute orders for stationery, fruit, milk etc.
Arrange for maintenance/repairs services as required
Manage buildings maintenance visits
Be the point of contact for buildings related issues
Arrange for ad hoc maintenance/repairs services as required
Maintain the meeting room diary and ensure facilities are clean and presentable
Fill and empty dishwashers
Car park management
Provide administrative support across Departments as required
Distribution of Post (am) and preparation for collection (pm)
